Freezing\boiling point of water with Glycerol and Ethanol
Hi guys, I've got the following question that I could use some help with:
You have two solutions, A and B.
Solution A contains a mixture of water and Glycerol (V\V % is 1:1)
Solution B contains a mixture of Ethanol and water (V\V % is 1:1)
Data: Glycerin - Boiling point at 290°C, freezing point at 18.6°C, Molar mass 92 g/mol

Ethanol-Hexane Miscibility Test
Hi guys,
I'm new here and just would like to ask for some help with this.
So, I conducted an experiment on the structures, bonding and properties of different substances, and one particular test I need to evaluate is the ethanol-hexane miscibility test.
So my experiment had shown that ethanol and hexane ARE miscible, but I'm having some trouble explaining why this outcome occurred.

What is the activation energy required to convert ethanol into acetaldehyde?
Without the help of catalysts, what would this value be? I’ve looked everywhere but all the sources I’ve found are too complex for me to understand and don’t actually state any values. I want to know what the activation energy is for the reaction when ethanol in wine oxidises into an aldehyde and then into acetic acid.
